“ Out doing the Savor Fort Wayne 2021 tour today downtown at Kanela. They have many options on their savor menu. For 12.25 we got a smoothie, one mango one berry, chicken and waffles with a side of honey, and either a mini cheesecake or donut. The smoothie had a very good flavor and paired well with the rest. The chicken and waffle is served in a cardboard cup. It had quite a bit of chicken and even more waffle. The honey was very thick and coated everything nicely. My cheesecake crumbled when I touched it with a fork, due to the graham cracker crust on bottom. It was very sweet so the size of it came out just right. The glazed cinnamon roll donut came out hot and mom really enjoyed it. They are open pretty much all day Monday through Saturday after 7:00 a.m. through the week and 8:00 a.m. on the weekends. The building has a cool mix of classic old architecture with some modern decorations and a great view of the downtown skyline. Certainly a great place to visit. Have you been here yet? ”
